iPhone SE 2 might feature wireless charging just like the iPhone X

The iPhone SE launch signified that users were not tired of small phones at all, especially when they packed as much firepower as the aforementioned smartphone. The iPhone SE 2 is obviously going to be more powerful than its predecessor and according to a leaked image, it will get more features for your convenience.

iPhone SE 2 might feature wireless charging just like the iPhone X

With the iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus getting wireless charging thanks to a glass back, we can expect the same thing from the iPhone SE 2. Chinese microblogging website Weibo has posted an image revealing a glass back, which allegedly belongs to the iPhone SE 2. Since all-metal backs interfere with wireless charging, a glass back would be the perfect solution for the miniature phone to charge its battery wirelessly.

As small as it may be, the iPhone SE 2 is expected to come packing a lot of punch underneath the rumored glass back. The base storage model might feature 32GB of internal memory, while the chipset that will be powering the phone might be an A10 Fusion, the same chipset that is present in the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

It will never be able to beat the A11 Bionic in any benchmarking test, but then again, that is not going to be the point. Apple will be releasing the iPhone SE 2 to ensure that a smaller, but cheaper iPhone will be available to the public. Believe it or not, there are a small bunch of people that prefer to use smaller phones regardless of the immediate benefits they would get while using a larger screen device.

Thanks to wireless charging and possibly a new design change, the phone might get a higher asking price, but that could also reduce the iPhone SE price even further. We might see a $400 price tag from Apple for the 32GB model, which was the same price as when the iPhone SE was getting launched.
