New LG G8 ThinQ Concept Adopts The Waterdrop Notch Design With Almost Non-Existent Bezels

It’s is never too early to start speculating what the next iteration of a specific device will have in store. Seemingly, we’re anxious about the features and the design-to-be for the next LG G8 ThinQ. We’re expecting a design change and an all-around improvement inside and out. However, what better way to look at the future than a concept. We now have our hands on a new concept video of the LG G8 ThinQ. This will give us a clear idea of what the company can possibly do with its flagship.

LG G8 ThinQ Concept Video Shows All-Around Improvement And Little To No Bezels

The LG G8 ThinQ concept is designed by the YouTube channel named DBS Designing and to be fair, they have done a pretty good job. The concept is clean and to the point while maintaining the realist approach when imagining features. Check out the video embedded below.

In terms of how the concept imagines the design of the LG G8 ThinQ, we see that there is a waterdrop notch design. This means that the notch at the top is as big as the camera sensor underneath. This provides more screen to body ratio. Overall, the concept imagines little to no bezels on the device. Other than this, the entire smartphone is made from a metal and glass design. The metal is sandwiched in a glass which gives it a more premium look and feels.

On the rear side of the LG G8 ThinQ is a dual lens camera set up along with the necessary sensors added for support. For instance, it carries the LED flash along with a laser autofocus sensor. The camera module is placed in a vertical fashion, as you would expect it to as per the industry trends. Below the camera module is the LG G8 ThinQ logo placed beautifully. Moreover, the device also carries the fingerprint sensor at the back, so that’s a plus as most smartphones are either removing the sensor altogether or embedding it inside the display.

One thing to note here is that the designer of the LG G8 ThinQ concept has not added any solid references to the specifications of the device. One rumor does suggest that the device will feature a 4K LCD panel and could most probably come with 5G-enabled connectivity. Do take note that this is just a concept, a manifestation of all the leaks and rumors, so take it with a pinch of salt.
