I know many users of Galaxy S5 are waiting for official Android Marshmallow update but who knows when they are going to release the update, as we all know Samsung is a bit slow when it comes to Android updates. Even latest flagship devices including Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge have started getting the update and next might be yours. But did you know? You can still install Android 6.0.1 update on the Galaxy S5 without to having waited anymore.

Thanks to CyanogenMod team and contributors, they have released a working Marshmallow 6.0.1 ROM for your phone. Please note that these ROMs are nightly, and all features may not function properly, but they are updated continuously to make it stable but still you can taste and experience some of the best features from the latest version of Android OS.
