  1. Go to
  2. Select the ‘Security & Fingerprint’ menu.
  3. Tap on the option labeled ‘Smart Lock’.

Is there a difference between OnePlus 5T Face Unlock and the one present on OnePlus 3 or OnePlus 3T?

Yes, there is. With the OnePlus 5T, if you use Face Unlock, it will take you straight to the home screen. With the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T, if you use Face Unlock, it will unlock the phone, but you will need to swipe up again to gain access to the home screen.

With both of these previous-generation smartphones, you will need to follow another step to get into the home screen, which is not a bad option. You’re still getting Face Unlock on your devices without spending money to get the OnePlus 5T, so you’re saving money in the end.
