The Upcoming 6.5-Inch OLED iPhone Is Reported To Be Named ‘iPhone Xs Max’
Apple’s flagship devices are set to launch on the September 12 and highly looking forward to the event. The iPhone is one of the most anticipated devices of the year and the hype is real. Last year, the company made drastic changes to its conventional design. From having one of the biggest top and chin to becoming the pioneer of having an all-screen design, the iPhone X was definitely one of the most popular devices on the planet. However, as new launch nears in, there wasn’t any clue provided on the what the device will be called. Now, we’re hearing that the bigger plus-sized variant will be called the iPhone XS Max.
iPhone XS Max Is What The 6.5-inch OLED iPhone Will Be Called
According to the sources familiar with Apple’s plans for marketing, the 6.5-inch OLED iPhone is said to be called the iPhone XS Max. If you’re taking note, you should know that this is the very first time Apple will be launching a smartphone with more than 6-inch of display size. However, be sure to note that the device name does not share any official confirmation. So the final decision rests at Apple’s end.
Nonetheless, it is definitely good to see a name that we can refer to for distinguishing the upcoming iPhone. As we have mentioned earlier, Apple will be releasing three variants of its iPhone. While the iPhone XS Max will be the company’s 6.5-inch OLED variant, there will also be a 5.8-inch version of the device which will be a follow up to the current iPhone X. Lastly, there will be a cheaper version of the smartphone as well which will cater the mid-range category.
At this point, we have some pretty solid leaks and rumors telling us what the device will have in store for us. The iPhone XS Max will feature a giant 6.5-inch display and it will come in an all-screen design. Since the screen is bigger the notch will not be that noticeable. Apart from this, as to what will power the device will be an A12 chip coupled with 4GB of RAM. It is believed that the iPhone XS Max will feature a similar footprint as the iPhone 8 Plus.
